During his extensive career, Martin has worked with some of the country’s largest benefits and life carriers – notably developing innovations in service delivery, new product offerings and operational structure. Today, Martin mentors emerging insurance advisors by sharing his own experience and methodology with the goal of continuously building an organization that provides a full range of services and products with proven records of performance.
Martin’s focus with his clientele is to provide customized solutions to meet the needs of high net worth individuals, successful professionals, business owners and retirees through tax-advantaged wealth accumulation and preservation strategies. His collaborative approach to partnering with, empowering and educating his clients to take responsibility and ownership for their futures along with an innate ability to resolve complex financial situations has earned him a well deserved reputation as a trusted advisor and partner to Fortune 100 corporations, in Canada and the US, as well as successful individuals in a broad-range of businesses.
As CEO of DOT Integrated Financial, Martin is committed to sharing knowledge, ideas, succession and growth strategies with his team and clients alike.
David Burstein, CA
CFO

With over 35 years of business experience, David delivers a global perspective, strategic planning and substantial market intelligence in identifying ways to continually enhance service to DOT’s client base. Through the implementation of the Client Care service model, David ensures that all DOT clients have access to senior management’s attention and support.
David’s knowledge and concern for doing what is right for the client has always been his first concern. He brings this "client first" philosophy to DOT, ensuring that every solution is goal and results driven.
David earned his CA designation in 1977 and is actively involved with many local and global charities, most recently creating an environmental awareness and rewards program.
Henry Toby, MBA, FLMI
Senior Vice President, Group Operations

In a career spanning two decades, Henry has over 15 years of innovation and expertise in Benefits Consulting, most notably in strategic plan design, plan administration and client relationship management. He began his career as a Senior Group Underwriter with a major insurance company and, since that time, has held a number of Senior Consulting and Executive positions including heading up the Employee Benefits practice at another well known Canadian Benefits Consulting firm immediately prior to joining DOT.
As a key player in achieving DOT’s vision to deliver fully-integrated insurance and financial solutions and services, Henry is instrumental in constructing strategic, broad based programs that are custom-designed to meet each client’s specialized needs. Henry’s superior knowledge of available products, future developments and industry trends, enable him to deliver a strategic focus to all client solutions, for both the immediate and long term. His priority is to ensure seamless, value-added program and service delivery and timely, ongoing support. By constantly anticipating and recognizing impending change, DOT clients benefit by being able to identify and resolve possible issues well in advance of there pending impact.
Henry has an MBA from Queen’s University, a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario and has earned FLMI accreditation.
Mark Waxman
Managing Partner – Managing General Agency

Mark entered the industry upon graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 and joined his father, who has been in the business for 40 years. Since that time, Mark has become known and respected for creating long lasting relationships with his clients through integrity, supportive care, and consistent performance results. Mark combines his breadth of industry and product knowledge with focused personal attention to ensure professionals, small businesses, and families achieve their wealth creation and risk management goals.
Active in his community and a strong believer in family values, Mark is involved in fund raising for a variety of charities.
Francis D’Andrade
Managing Partner – Wealth Management

Past responsibilities have included private client and investor services, marketing, product development, risk management and dealer sales. During his career, Francis played a significant role in growing Altamira into a top ten mutual fund company as well as launching the first financial services website in Canada. Francis has overseen marketing campaigns, which resulted in recognition as the #1 mutual fund brand in Canada by top-of-mind awareness, and he is widely regarded as having been a pioneer in the direct distribution of financial services products to Canadians.
As a key player in achieving DOT’s vision to deliver fully-integrated insurance and financial solutions and services, Francis heads up the Wealth Management practice and oversees a team of professionals who work with our clients to effectively manage the risk inherent in their financial portfolios with the ultimate goal of helping them design an approach that will deliver on their specific financial objectives.
Francis has a BA from York University, has completed numerous financial services industry programs, such as the Canadian Securities Course and the Canadian and US Futures and Options Course, and has sat on committees for the Investment Funds Institute of Canada and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.
